Introducing … Jade Good news for Snopek music fans. The long-awaited CD of Snopek's piano music is now available … Jade. For those of you who have had the opportunity to enjoy his instrumental music over the years, Jade brings together 17 Snopek pieces for piano. Some may be old friends; "Summer Guest" (originally included on the award-winning "Wisconsinsane" album) and "Jackie's Melody" (included on the never-quite-released "Elephants" album) have been re-recorded, along with 15 new piano works written since 2000. New classics like "Nancy's Door", "Miyako", "Song for Penelope" and "Sixties in Blue" are among the most frequent requests at Snopek performance. The CD was recorded and produced in 2003, with the very special participation of Don Stimpert, whose Mason-Hamlin grand piano was used for the recording sessions. Stimpert was one of Snopek's piano teachers, and his performance of six of the pieces is one of the unique elements of the Jade project.
