Snopek Re-Issues Cult Classic Album
MILWAUKEE, WI - Sigmund Snopek announces the CD release of "The Bloomsbury People",
the self-titled first and only album released by Snopek's first band. Originally released on MGM in 1970, the record
showcases the band's driving beat and versatile sound.
The Bloomsbury People was an important band in the late 60's psychedelic music movement, using techniques like
the inclusion of classical music themes, lyrics from nineteenth century poets and non-standard rock instrumentation.
Among the band's many memorable concerts, they are remembered for playing to 500,000 people at the Atlanta Pop
Festival alongside Jimi Hendrix and other 60's icons.
Now, after 30 years, this cult classic is available on CD. The CD includes 3 bonus tracks - "Gingerbread Man",
"Madeline" and "Saga of the Red Sea" - never previously released to the general public. All
the songs have been digitally re-mastered to the highest quality available.
This seminal album is a must for anyone's Snopek collection, and for fans of the best of 1960's vintage rock. "The
Bloomsbury People" is available from sigmundsnopek.com for $20, including shipping and handling.
